What is Precalculus?
Precalculus or precalc is a form of mathematics that specializes in linear equations, polynomial functions, many forms of trigonometry, inequalities, sequences, and introduction ot calculus.
Linear and Quadratics
There are the x-intercept and the y-intercept which would help us to find the linear equation. The x-intercept is where the x-axis crosses the x line. The y-intercept is where the line crosses the y-axis.
Slope of Lines
Slope is where two lines are crosses at each other. The equation to find the slope is:
y=mx+b
Measurements of Angle
An angle is where two rays are joined at the same point which is called the vertex point
Changing degrees to radian and from radian to degrees
If you want to change degree to radian, you have to mulitply pie over 180. If you want to change radian to degree, you have to multiply 180 divided by pie.
Sines and Cosines
30, 45 and 60 degrees are always used for mathematics examples. sine= y/r
